Q: Is professional wardrobe styling included?
A: We have a dedicated team of two professional Personal Stylists ready to assist you. After your consultation with Samantha, we'll match you with one of our stylists who will guide you through a wardrobe consultation, ensuring every outfit reflects your vision. If you need new wardrobe items, our stylists handle the personal shopping process, providing curated suggestions tailored to your budget. We can also combine your clothing with items from our studio wardrobe. This service is complimentary with all Personal Branding photography services.
Q: Are hair and makeup services included?
A: Professional hair and makeup services are complimentary and included in the cost of all our Personal Branding photography sessions. We have a team of skilled artists who are specifically trained in makeup application for photography lighting. They understand the nuances and techniques required to ensure you look your best in front of the camera.
Q: Do you have any package options available?
A: Yes, we offer several packages for Personal Branding please review our Process and Pricing page for more details. Additionally, we offer Day in the Life packages for more lifestyle-type images optimized for social media. If all you want is a no frills headshot, check out our Express Headshots.
Q: How can I view my photos before finalizing them?
A: During your photo session you will have opportunities to review the images we are creating. Immediately following your session, we will transition to an image selection appointment. With both done in one day, it leaves nothing left to do but wait for the delivery of your beautiful new images. In the event you’re unable to stay for your selection appointment, a Zoom appointment will be offered at your convenience.
Q: How much variety can I achieve if I opt for a studio session?
A: The studio offers 14 different backdrop options, as well as a natural brick wall, a white brick wall, and various pieces of furniture including a mock desk set-up. In addition to the studio, the surrounding area also provides a variety of visually interesting outdoor locations within walking distance and 3 options of locations with water views within a short driving distance.
Q: I only need a headshot and no extra services, do you do that?
A: We suggest attending one of our monthly Express Headshot Days for a discounted rate. Express Headshots are available on the 1st Sat. of every month.
Q: Do you have any special rates for larger volume corporate headshots
A: Yes, please inquire about day-rate pricing.
Q: Can you accommodate multiple individuals in one photo session?
A: Sure! Our Personal Branding Packages allow up for to 2 individuals in the session without incurring additional charges. This is a great option if you wish to split the cost with friends or colleagues, or if your business is a team. However, please note that this may reduce the number of outfit changes possible and the session may be limited to one location due to time constraints.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: The studio accepts all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Additionally, financing options with 0% interest are available through partnerships with Synchrony Bank, PayPal, and Square, subject to credit approval.
Q: Will you travel for a session?
A: Yes, we offer on-location shoots at no additional charge within 20 miles of Trumbull, CT. Locations beyond that will incur travel/mileage fees.
Q: How far in advance should I book a photo shoot?
A: We are typically booked out 2-3 weeks in advance.
Q: Do you only shoot Headshots and Personal Branding?
A: My main focus is Headshots and Branding however I have over a decade of experience with Families and High School seniors as well as Custom Creative Portraiture and Non-Wedding Events. I take a handful of commissions throughout the year. You can see my portfolio for those types of sessions here.
