BEHIND THE LENS WITH; Sherwood Hatrick Lobodinsky - ACtor/Voice-Over Artist
This is Steve, also know by his stage name “Sherwood Hatrick Lobodinsky”. Steve’s session came about because, as he put it, “you can’t show up looking like a completely different person than your headshot.” Between a new beard, a different hairstyle, and a more defined sense of where he’s headed creatively, it was clearly time for images that felt current and a little more relevant.
As we talked through his goals during the initial consultation, I realized that versatility is at the heart of his brand. He’s thoughtful about how he presents himself, balancing professionalism with personality, and thinking strategically about the kinds of roles he could realistically step into. Serious or funny, polished or gritty he wanted images that left room for possibility instead of one or two images that boxed him into a single look.
This branding session focused on capturing different personalities, different “characters” with different personalities (that was fun to create!). The resulting images reflect someone who takes his craft seriously, enjoys the creative process, and is actively shaping how he shows up visually as he continues building momentum in his work.
Behind The Lens: Laughs, Characters, and a Hair Transformation No One Saw Coming

This session was fun from the start! We laughed a lot, I always map out the session in advance and had planned on leaning into different characters based on the outfits he had planned. One of the more memorable moments came when he admitted he didn’t think much could be done with his hair, calling it “just so flat.” Watching that doubt disappear once LaToya worked her magic was incredible. She transformed his hair into a thick, Viking-inspired mohawk, and his floored reaction was caught on video, which you can see in the behind-the-scenes clip below.
Not long after the session, he shared that once he updated his profiles with the new images, he was approached about a modeling opportunity connected to a major, internationally known athletic shoe company, a pretty great reminder of how powerful the right images can be!
